This Plug locks into the cigar lighter socket proper as well as into the Sutars marine quality Sockets and it stays in there until you pull it out. Thus no need for an indication light. A diode can be fitted of course.

The three contacting springs of the negative carrier keep the plug in a straight position in the socket and so the hot end stays in full contact with the +pole of the socket at all times.

The 7 mmØ cable inlet swallows 2 x 2.5 mm² insulated wire. The +/- marked screw terminals are likewise big for easy and quick fitting of the wires. The wire for the +terminal to be about 1.5 cm longer than the other one.

AWG 18 = 0.82 mm² - AWG 16 = 1.31 mm² - AWG 14 = 2.08 mm²

There will never be a fuse in an accessory plug from Sutars. We do not take part in that hoax. There are no fuses in plugs for household current nor in plugs for higher voltages for that matter! We use fuses between power source and outlets.
